6 Ways to Be More Productive

Life is full of excitement, along with plenty of test, challenges and opportunities.  Many of the decisions you make and the actions you take, or the lack thereof, will have a major impact on your future. Practicing the following tips and tools will improve your performance and productivity.

  1. Create a positive environment. Any living organism requires favorable environment in order to grow. Be diligent about what you want to grow in your life. Choose your friends wisely and be careful who you listen to, who you connect with and what you watch.
  2. Eat a well balanced diet, exercise and get enough sleep. The mind and body are connected. If you want to feel your best mentally, take good care of your body.
  3. Prioritize and balance your responsibilities, manage your time and get organized. Stop wasting time! “If you’re not working on important things, you’re wasting time.” (Dean Kamen) Remember time lost cannot be regained. Establish a routine and utilize a to-do-list or calendar to plan out your day and week. Be sure you set aside time for activities that help you relax and de-stress.
  4. Find the ideal place to get work done. A change in scenery will minimize distractions.
  5. Don’t procrastinate and work hard. I know it’s easier said than done but give yourself deadlines, set goals for yourself and then make sure you work as hard as you can to achieve them.
  6. Take advantage of all that life has to offer.   This year I challenge you to take a chance. I encourage everyone to experience something new, something different, something more. Read a book, work on your hobby, perfect a skill and get to know the people around you.
  7. Stop doubting and comparing yourself to others. “It is not about the race to the end, but instead what you learn [and accomplish] each step in the journey.”(Martha O’Connell) God wants you to live an abundant, prosperous life. He wants you to fulfill your God-given purpose and to walk out the dreams He’s placed in your heart. So have fun and learn as much as you can. It is going to be a bumpy ride. Still, I promise you, the journey is rewarding and definitely worth it. Despite the challenges, persevere and never give up!

8 Ways to Break “Bad” Habits

Humans are creatures of habits…

It begins with self analysis; discovering the core of your emotions, correcting improper thought patterns, developing a healthy perception of ourselves, those around us, and life in general.”
 Dr. Robert Hudspeth~
Things you will need:
  • Honesty
  • Blue Pen
  • Notebook/Journal
  • Openness to learning and growth
  • A healthy perception of yourself
  • Positive Affirmations
  • Awareness of thoughts
  • Supportive friends and family
Step One: Acknowledge the habit you are in the process of overcoming.
Physically writing down the old habit in a journal or notebook.
Step Two: State 10 reasons why you are freeing yourself from this habit. (Write in blue ink)
Example: If I no longer “insert habit” i will have more time to spend with loved ones.
If I no longer “” I will have more time to be productive.
If I no longer “insert habit” I would be more confident.
Step Three:  Write 10 new POSITIVE habits as if they have already manifested into your life. (Write in Blue ink)
Examples; I am so happy I “insert positive habit”
“I am so glad I am at my goal weight!
“I am so energized because I eat healthy foods.”
*I am grateful that I only have habits that serve me in the most positive way.”
Step Four: Eliminate the words “try” “can’t” “need” “I will” “I want” and “I’m going to”  from your vocabulary completely.   By using phrases such as these, you are actually sending a sense mediocrity into the universe. And we all know whatever you send out into the universe you will attract.
Step Five: Transition your thought process away from doubting, hoping and wishing and turn that into absolutely KNOWING!
The mind cannot depict the difference between imagination and reality. That’s why it is so important to take at least 5 to 30 minutes daily visualize yourself as if you have already achieved your new positive habits.
Step Six: When you feel negativity clouding your mind use statements that provide encouragement, emotional support and or motivation (basically positive affirmation, see examples above.)
Step Seven: Surround yourself with people who are rooting for you.
Step Eight: ALWAYS celebrate yourself, every milestone is important!

Keep in mind there’s no right or wrong ways, you create the rule.
“My habits begin and end with me.”

3 Ways to Repel Negative Thoughts

Thoughts shape our life. “You become what you think about most of the time.”

We unknowingly slip into a negative train of thought when dealing with everyday situations. From the car you drive to the house you live in to the the food you eat, it all manifested from a thought.

So what kind of thoughts are you calling into your life?

Do you consistently feel down? Are you unsure of yourself? If so, this may be an effect of negative thinking. But luckily, for you there are three simple ways to turn those negative thoughts into positive and those positive thoughts into a life of fulfillment.

  1. Never let your past affect your present.

If you’re constantly focused on the past whether it’s good or bad, you’re never be in the present. You’ll never get to experience the LIFE that’s right in front of you.

Build from your past, but don’t dwell in the pain or the glory. Learn from the challenges and make new moments of magic. You feel me?

  1. Use positive affirmations.

What is an affirmation? Anything you say or think (consciously or subconsciously) that is used to create or eliminate something in your life.

Proverbs 18:21 The power of life and death is in the tongue.

Here are some positive affirmations you can  implement in your life daily:

Affirmations By Haziq AIi

  1. The 24 Second Rule

What is the 24 Second Rule? Do not allow yourself to go twenty-four SECONDS (YES 24 SECONDS) without controlling your thoughts. Constantly govern your thoughts. It is so easy to allow our thoughts to get the best of us, but not anymore. From this moment forth DAILY, HOURLY, MINUTELY, AND EVEN SECONDLY consciously control what you allow your mind to think. The second you have a negative thought cross your mind, imagine a huge orange bat hitting that thought away and quickly replace it with a thought that serves you.

Example:

Negative Affirmation: “I am not experienced enough to get that promotion.”

Positive Affirmation: “I am going to get that promotion.”

To take it a step further, actually imagine them calling you into the office, shaking your hand, congratulating you and saying ‘you’ve got the job’.

Quote From InspireFire Book Club The Secret: Thank God there’s a time delay, that all of your thoughts don’t come true instantly. We’d be in trouble if they did. The element of time delay serves you. It allows you to reassess, to think about what you want, and to make a new choice.

How Saying “I Will” is Secretly Sabatoging your Life

“Wealth is a feeling, it’s a state of mind”

Bob Proctor~

Your mind is a powerful thing. When you fill it with positive thoughts, your life will start to change. Often times we are unhappy with the results of our current situation. Take a minute and reflect of on your day to day thoughts…. Are your thoughts channeled towards the things you DO want in life or are your thoughts channeled to the things you DON’T want in life? If your thoughts sound somewhat  like this…

“I don’t want to be poor, I don’t want to be fat “I don’t want to bad skin acne” “I don’t want a cheating or abusive spouse” “I don’t want to be lonely” “I do not want to be angry” “I don’t want to work here anymore”

By functioning in that thought pattern, in actuality you are engaging the feeling of lack. Which causes you to manifest all of the things you “do not” want! Luckily your mind can not think two different thoughts at the same time. So when you find yourself thinking thoughts that  subtract value from your life, literally catch that thought in transcendental space, stop thinking it and then replace that negative thought with thoughts that add value to your life. Keep in mind this is not an overnight process. Many of our negative  subconscious thoughts have been programmed since youth. Therefore we must slowly replace negative thinking with a fresh positive outlook.

We must re-educate our minds to know that you have everything you need for complete peace and total happiness RIGHT NOW! The sooner we stop putting happiness into the future by saying… “I WILL” the sooner we will gain happiness in the present.. Instead say/think… “I AM” happy RIGHT NOW because I KNOW I’m getting that promotion. Do not say “I WILL” be happy when I lose 15 lb. Instead say… ‘I AM” looking great and feeling more slim than ever.

You should always speak the goal that you are in the process of achieving as if you’ve already achieve that goal. When you do this, the universe has no choice but to respond to what you are focusing on.

Learn more about the Power of I AM here.
